Hasn’t the summer gone fast?! Our new season starts next month – 7^th September for the senior club and 14^th September for the Colts. All the details for dates and membership fees are now updated on our Clubnight and Gosford Hill Colts pages respectively, although do note that we are still running a waiting list for the Colts. We look forward to seeing our old members again – refreshed after a summer break – and welcoming new visitors to the club. Here’s to a great season!

Welcome back! All the details for the 2022/23 season have now been updated on the website. Clubnights will start on September 8th for the main club, and September 15th for the Gosford Hill Colts.

For adults hoping to play league matches this season, please come along to the first few sessions so that teams can be picked before matches start in early October.

Please note that the Colts junior club is still running a waiting list – once the season starts and we’ve been able to take stock of members we’ll look to invite those already on the waiting list to join.

Don’t forget you can visit the club shop to buy a club t-shirt. Maybe you’ve outgrown yours over the summer, or just want something stylish and breathable to wear at clubnight – they’re reasonably priced and it looks great when our league teams where them for matches!

The COVID-19 pandemic stopped all badminton mid-way through the 2019-20 season, and apart from a few informal sessions last autumn, Gosford Hill Badminton Club has been more-or-less dormant for nearly 18 months. However, the committee are glad to announce that we will be resuming in September, and plan to recommence weekly clubnights and league matches in accordance with government and Badminton England guidance.

For the adult club, we will be welcoming new and old members from September – previous members should have received details in the post. New members are welcome to come along as visitors to try out the club before joining.

For the Junior club, please note that we are still running a waiting list: we have sent letters to previous members offering them the chance to chance to re-join and will be contacting those already on the waiting list once we have a clearer idea of numbers.

The season will start on 2^nd September for the main club, and run until 14^th April. For the Juniors, the first session will be on 9^th September, and the last of the year will be on 9^th April.

The Oxfordshire Badminton League will also restart this season and we will enter two mens teams, one ladies team and two mixed teams. We will post details about leagues and fixtures once they become available.
