Welcome to the Gosford Hill Badminton Club website!
We are a friendly, sociable club in Oxford with teams in the local Oxfordshire Badminton League. We’re always happy to welcome new members, especially those of league standard, and we encourage you to visit a couple of times before joining.
We also have a junior club, Gosford Hill Colts which is open to younger players between the ages of 11 and 18.
Clubnights are on Thursday evenings at Oxford High School for Girls — 6pm until 7pm for juniors, and 7pm until 10pm for the seniors. We also have some additional Tuesday evenings for senior clubnights: 7.30pm until 10pm. Please keep an eye out on this website and social media for details of the Tuesday evening sessions once they’ve been booked.
This season, clubnights for the senior club start on Thursday 7th September 2023, and run until 28th March 2024. For the Colts, the first session of the season is on 14th September 2023, and the last will be on 21st March 2024.
For the 2023 / 2024 season we have three mens teams, a ladies team and two mixed teams, playing in the Oxfordshire Badminton League. Home matches are played on Thursdays (7.00pm) and some Tuesday evenings (7.30pm).
